coffee

Well, I had a great time visiting coffee farmers in Siguatepeque, who are interested in growing organic coffee,
the coffee is grown in the pine forests which I think adds flavor to the coffee, giving it a light fruity taste, and a little acidic, GOOOD... The mountains here are beautiful and the people are even better, very nice and hospitable..Growers First put me up in a local hotel and each morning Pastor and his old Toyota Landcruiser picked me up and then we went into the back country and visited 7 different small villages where coffee was grown. After my 5 days I was tired and headed back into Guatemala, but first visited the great Mayan ruins of Copan, where I stayed one night before crossing the border...
Im getting tired and lazy so I will catch up again tomorrow when I m at home to translate all my daily notes and odd things I have seen as normal part of the Latino culture, which I have grown to love.
