back on the farm
Well, officially most all my friends have left for better places, so I am here, deciding to take the boredom like a man, and work more...
After planting a few thousand trees by hand this spring, the grass is
starting to choke the little pine and maple trees, so I have been putting
my imported honduran machete to work whacking the weeds to prevent death of trees by choking of fertilizer and water...
Well last night me and my little bro got caught off guard by a amean badger that has been eating the roots of my trees..
so this morning I went out there and forgot, and there he was all puffed up and ready for a fight, I turned around and ran off, like a sissy, so next time Sept 15 is officially the legal time of year to rid these creatures, so my 9mm will accompany me and I will do my best to keep these insurgents from harming and terrorizing my property.....
The weather is cooling nicely, not today though--- We have a bumper crop of zuchini, apples, grapes, carrot, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, melons on the way, cilantro, chives, big sunflower, little bit of asparagus, tons of lettuce, which i am harvesting the seed for next year now.. I have also been collecting native wildflowers and grasses to resow next spring and putting in more trees on sonnys farm....well its been a long day---i am trying to finally finish my waterfall now that tractor motor was put back into action today---yee haw
